New website and more

We have moved our website to a new hosting company along with a complete redesign. The redesign was important to allow us to better integrate with social media and work more closely with our customers.

Unfortunately with the move we have lost over four years of blog content but that will only drive us forward to provide more content over coming months.

2016 was a very interesting year for the band. Our vocalist Clare gave birth to her first child (congratulations Clare) and we were extremely fortunate to find Heather as a long term stand-in on vocals.

We also saw one of the original members of the group (James on Tenor Sax) play his final gig at christmas. James has been the corner stone of the horn section for over 6 years and it was a really sad day for everyone when we had to say goodbye. We have been extremely fortune in that one of our regular stand-ins was aware of the vacancy and we are delighted to announce that Susanna Hewitt will be replacing James on Saxophone. Susanna is a qualified music therapist, Piano and Saxophone teacher so brings a vast amount of experience and quality to the group.

On a final note. We will be performing at the Balcarres Arms, 1 Copperas Lane, Haigh, Wigan, this coming Saturday (11th Feb) starting at 9pm. It's free to enter, so why not come along for a great night of blues, funk, soul and motown.
